Gender Masculinities And Sexuality Workshops For Boys

FPC organized three gender, masculinities and sexuality workshops for adolescent boys. In total 120 boys from 25 villages participated in these workshops, helping our boys’ groups to become stronger. We have observed them putting what they learned in these workshops into practice. They have helped their sisters and wives to pursue education, stopped teasing and using abusive words against girls and women, began helping with household chores, are actively participating in different campaigns at the village and block level, helped sisters play sports, raised their voices against child marriage and discrimination, and reported child marriage and domestic violence against women when they saw it. We are extremely proud of the changes these boys and men are making and are excited to continue witnessing these developments as the program continues.
