Meeting With Stakeholders

Regular conversations with parents teachers, Anganwadi workers, community members, and citizen representatives are necessary to ensure the empowerment of girls through sports. During our work in the field, we have witnessed that parents are often reluctant to allow their daughters to play sports. Instead, girls are burdened with household work to stop them from playing full stop in various instances it has been witnessed playing Sports, whereas boys are encouraged to do so.

To empower girls we conducted meetings with different stakeholders to begin clearing the hardens that blocked the roads of empowerment among girls as a result of this work, 18 young girls and boys went to a Net Ball tournament held in New Delhi and played against 16 teams from across the nation.
